I picked these up on an Amazon Lightning Deal for $139, even though I did not need them. I couldn't tell from the picture, really, what they would look like or dimensions. But with kids doing overnights, it seemed a safe buy. They arrived, and I didn't even open the box until last night and goodness, WOW ! These are absolutely gorgeous, solid, sturdy, well-made, beautifully stitched in red..luxury cases!

My grandson grabbed the small one, stating, I can take this to school! I said, "no, it's a suitcase". He proceeded to open it and show me the compartments for notebooks, pencils, etc., and promptly overtook the small "tote". Today, he left for school without a 20-pound backpack, happily towing his Samsonite. He said other kids were using the even larger size rolling case for books, so on a really heavy day, he can use either. I will have to fight him to use even the larger piece of luggage.

I have used the Payoneer card for more than one year and I must admit that the experience has been fantastic  In fact, I don’t think any other blogger on earth has ever written a blog post like this that talks about the full benefits of Payoneer. Therefore, after you read, make sure you click on the social buttons and share with all your friends on Twitter, Facebook and other social networks. I had to write this after I realized that most people actually under-use their cards.

Without further ado, here we go with the advantages of the Payoneer Card:

1. Free $25

You get $25 for free when you apply for the card through my referral link. As stated above, this will come once your account gets to $100. I will also get the free $25 when you use that link.

What if I don’t want to click on your referral link, you may ask?

Remember that Payoneer will charge you $30 annual fee once you receive the card and load it for the first time. The free $25 will help you cut this down to only $5.

*This $25 is not really annual, I have had the card for more than a year and I have never been charged again. I asked support and they confirmed that the fee was scrapped and is only charged once.

2. It is Integrated With Most Top Freelancing Websites

Most freelancing websites have the Payoneer MasterCard withdrawal option. These include Freelancer, Elance, oDesk and *Fiverr among others. I consider Payoneer as the best option for these websites due to the many benefits listed here.

What’s more? You can even withdraw money from Moneybookers and 2Checkout. This gives an excellent solution to people who earn money through these methods. Once again, this requires the US Payment Service.

4. Withdraw Money from PayPal Using Your Payoneer Card

Payoneer has a US Payment Service (formerly US Virtual Account) which you can use to withdraw money from PayPal.

Here you are given a virtual US account number that you can use on your PayPal account. It is the ONLY option that you can use to withdraw money from PayPal in the literal sense, meaning you actually click on “Withdraw” on your PayPal account and the money goes to your Payoneer MasterCard.

Other companies will help you access your PayPal cash but you won’t be able to literally click on withdraw and get the cash. I only trust ePay-Kenya for this although other people are stating that KenyaPesa and Pesa-Gram also work. I advice caution on these sprouting “companies” and users should read PayPal’s terms and conditions which are against currency exchanges.

Note that currently, ePay-Kenya have temporarily suspended PayPal transactions.

5. Withdraw Anywhere in Their Local Currency

If you are in another country, you can easily use the card to withdraw money in their local currency. This works in any country or continent, as long as they have MasterCard ATMs.

A freelancer friend of mine was once broke in Tanzania. He simply went to a MasterCard branded ATM and withdrew the cash in Tanzania shillings.

It offers great withdrawal rates no matter where you are.

6. Buy Stuff and Make Local Payments

The Payoneer MasterCard works like any other prepaid debit card. You can therefore use it to buy stuff on local supermarkets or make payments wherever MasterCard is accepted. This includes chemists, clinics, hospitals and electronic stores among hundreds of other places.

If you don’t want to incur the $2.15 ATM withdrawal fee, don’t withdraw but use the card to buy and pay for stuff. You can buy with even as little as 1 dollar in your Payoneer account! I have actually tried this and it works great! They have a small 3% fee for currency conversion in non-USD countries.

7. Make Online Payments

Do you want to pay your domain or hosting fees? Do you want to buy an antivirus? Have you seen something cool on Amazon or eBay that you want to buy? All these payments can be easily made using your Payoneer card.

8. $50 Free Google AdWords Credit

On my comments section below, a Payoneer agent has just confirmed to me that this was a one time offer but it can come again soon.

I received offer this together with many other people who I referred to Payoneer. This really came in handy when I was marketing FreelancerKenya in its early days. Of course I immediately cancelled the AdWords and went for SEO immediately the credit ran out. All in all, it really helped me to drive some great, targeted traffic to my site.
